Academy Program Manager

CONSISTENT PART-TIME ROLE, POTENTIAL FOR FULL-TIME
Start Date: Immediate

 
The Program Manager for Film.Ca Academy is an exciting role that oversees our year-round children and youth programming. Our programs feature educational and fun classes with topics ranging from all aspects of filmmaking to acting. The Program Manager role is integral to the success of the day-to-day programming and operations. 
 
Working with the Academy is an excellent opportunity to connect with students and campers in a creative environment. Enriching their artistic interests, talents, and nurturing their skills to create their own content. Plus...it's a lot of fun!  

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
- Overseeing the day-to-day execution of high quality programming 
- Managing the registration processes 
- Answering inquiries regarding the different programming offered and liaising with parents 
- Organization and development of all programming calendars 
- Ensuring a smooth transition period between sessions for both staff and registrants 
- Ensuring all programs adhere to professional Film.ca and curriculum standards 
- Work with the Film.Ca Team in developing marketing and recruitment campaigns for returning and new participants. 
 
Requirements: 
- Experience working with children  
- Experience in leadership of children’s programs 
- Current vulnerable sector screening check, which includes a criminal reference check (can be provided after receiving offer of employment, but before interaction with students/campers) 
 
*A background in/knowledge of film is an asset, but not required for this role. We welcome anyone with program coordination experience.
