Oakville, ON October 18, 2024 – This Halloween, Oakville’s beloved Film.Ca Cinemas invites you to face your fears and enter The Curse of Knoll Studios, a thrilling new haunted house from the cast members of Film.Ca Cinemas! Between October 25-31, brave souls will experience a spine-chilling story of an ambitious film producer whose cast has become so consumed by their roles, they no longer know where fiction ends, and reality begins. As they descend into madness, will you be able to make it through their twisted world? 

This fully immersive event is packed with live actors, eerie sets, and spooky surprises around every corner. Held at Knoll Studios, located right beside Film.Ca Cinemas at 171 Speers Road, the haunted house runs on select dates with tours every 15 minutes.

Petawawa, ON - April 19, 2024 – Film.Ca Entertainment Corporation is thrilled to announce the re-opening of the beloved Garrison Petawawa base movie theatre Troyes Cinema, now known as Film.Ca Troyes Cinema, on the upcoming May long weekend. Film.Ca, is committed to continuing Troyes Cinema’s tradition of providing top-tier entertainment experiences while fostering a strong sense of community within the Garrison’s community and beyond. With a selection of first run Hollywood movies as well as Canadian independent and special events catering to all tastes, Film.Ca Troyes Cinema is poised to become an integral part of the Garrison Petawawa experience. 

Jeff Knoll, CEO of Film.Ca, when visiting his son newly stationed at Garrison Petawawa, noticed the dormant Troyes Cinema noting the potential and need for the facility within the community. When the opportunity arose to re-open the theatre, Knoll contacted base staff to express interest in assuming the management of the cinema and to breathe new life into this cherished community landmark that has been sorely missed since its doors closed in 2022.
