SUMMER CAMP UPDATE

Parents 👋

Our entire Summer Camp team have been watching announcements and waiting for details and information ☀️

We now know, based on the most recent announcement from Doug Ford, that day camps will be allowed to operate in July and August following “strict” guidelines to be developed with local health units, municipalities, and the Ontario Ministry of Labour 👍

As we wait to hear what these guidelines will look like exactly, and recognizing that there are things we cannot yet answer definitively, we are already making our own plans to ensure safety for campers and staff alike. As part of our plans, we are running under the assumption that group sizes will need to be smaller, and we will be increasing and optimizing our outdoor time and space ☀️🌳

IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS NOW:

Know that REGISTRATION is open for all 2020 Summer Camp weeks.
We want to encourage parents to REGISTER for the week(s) you are interested in. BUT under the heading “OPTIONAL PAYMENT” please select “PAY LATER” ⚠️

We want to begin to gauge interest in each week so we can start planning staffing. As well, we want to give parents peace of mind knowing their child(ren) will have somewhere to go to camp that week. (*Know that as we CONFIRM a week will run, we will reach out to those registered and require full payment to officially confirm their child(ren)s spot) 💜

As we continue to receive information from local and provincial governments, we will continue to meet and exceed those guidelines and will keep our parents and campers informed through all aspects 💛

Information, as it becomes available, will be posted to our website: film.ca/kids as well as sent via email to parents who have officially registered for 2020 summer camp 🏕

Stay well, we can’t wait to welcome you back this summer! ☀️
