Beginning September 22nd, Ontario will be requiring proof of vaccination with your photo ID in a number of indoor locations, including cinemas.
You can show your proof of immunization with your vaccine receipt, and the province plans to launch an app in October to make it even easier! Download or print your vaccine receipt from the provincial booking portal, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.
This will soon be another reason you can be assured of your safety in your return to the movies!
- Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will also be exempted from these requirements.
- If you need your first or second shot, COVID-19 vaccines are currently available at over 3,150 locations across the province, including more than 2,500 pharmacies and more than 650 mass immunization clinics, hospitals, primary care settings and pop up and mobile clinics.
